Susan Schaefer, owner of Ships ‘N’ Trips Travel, has two passions: travel and nonprofit fundraising. She believes strongly in the amazing life-changing potential and educational value that travel has to offer. And through years as a volunteer nonprofit fundraising coordinator, she also understands the importance and challenges of fund-raising in the current economy. Every day nonprofits face the challenge of having to raise funds in an ever tighter economy, faced with other nonprofits doing similar fundraisers (golf tournaments, black tie galas, 5k-10k runs, etc.).
So it has been a natural progression at Ships ‘N’ Trips Travel to support charitable organizations with unique fundraising opportunities utilizing travel, incorporating education and life-changing opportunities whenever possible. While raising much needed funds for charity, we provide supporters with all of the wonderful life-long memories of an unforgettable travel experience. With this program, we do most of the work, while charities reap the benefits.
