Activities Unique to New Zealand

One of the reasons that New Zealand is such a popular travel destination is because of the unique activities that can only be found in this country. Here are some of the most popular activities that you won't want to miss:

1. Bungy Jumping: New Zealand is known as the birthplace of bungy jumping, and for a good reason. Queenstown, located on the South Island, is home to the world's first commercial bungy jump, and there are plenty of other locations around the country where you can give it a try.

2. Hiking: With its rugged terrain and breathtaking scenery, New Zealand is a hiker's paradise. From the Milford Track to the Tongariro Crossing, there are plenty of trails to suit all skill levels and timeframes.

3. Geothermal Springs: The North Island is home to a number of geothermal springs, including Rotorua's famous Hot Springs. These natural hot pools are perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking or sightseeing.
